What information does my sender need to provide for me to receive a transfer?
To receive money in the app, your sender must: Create the transfer using MoneyGram online or send from a MoneyGram location Enter your name as shown on your government-issued ID Enter your mobile phone number. For this to work, your number must be linked to the MoneyGram app. Select Cash pickup as the delivery method
How do I receive money with the MoneyGram app in Colombia?
When your sender completes the transfer, they will send you a notification in a text message or WhatsApp message. To receive your money: Use the link in your notification to download the app. You can also download it from the App Store or Google Play. Open the app and sign up, or log in if you already have a profile When the transfer appears, tap Convert to digital US dollars (USDC) Review the details and tap Confirm The transfer amount will appear in Current balance and Activity
Do I need to download the app to receive money?
Yes. To receive and manage your transfer, you must download the MoneyGram app and log in with your mobile number.
