Auto payment timing

How long does it take to pay an auto bill with MoneyGram?

Many loan payments post the same day, while lender or auction payments, particularly with Copart and IAA, may settle within 2-3 business days.

  • Same-day in many cases. Most auto lenders accept and post loan payments the same day they are sent.

  • 2-3 business day settlement for some billers. Conditions apply and depend on the biller, particularly for auction payments.

  • Cutoff times apply. Payments made after a biller's cutoff time may not post until the next business day.

  • Weekends and holidays. Billers typically do not process payments on weekends or holidays, so send earlier if you are working against a deadline.
