How does MoneyGram’s Referral program work?
You can be eligible to refer a friend to MoneyGram online after completing a qualifying international money transfer. Once you’re eligible, you can refer a friend by sharing your unique referral link or code. If they use it to complete their first qualifying online international money transfer with MoneyGram, you both get rewarded. They save on their first send, and you earn a discount to use on your next send with MoneyGram. You’ll see the current reward amounts in the Refer and Earn section of the app or your online account.
Who can participate?
You need to be an existing MoneyGram online customer in the United States who has completed at least one international money transfer. You can refer anyone in the US who has not used MoneyGram online before.
How do I get my reward?
Your referral link and code track everything automatically. As long as your friend uses your unique promo code, their discount is applied at checkout on their first qualifying transfer. Your reward is added to your account the next day. Use it on a qualifying transfer within 60 days. If your friend loses the link, they can re-enter your referral code manually at checkout.
Do rewards expire or have a limit?
As a referrer, discounts that you earn expire 60 days after you friend’s first qualifying transfer, so use them before then. You can earn 10 in total. Rewards stack and are applied one at a time, starting with the one closest to expiring.
