What information do I need to provide to open a MoneyGram Account?
If you already have a MoneyGram profile, you’ll only need to provide us with the remaining personal information required to complete the identity verification process. If you don’t have a MoneyGram profile, we will need your full name, residential address (can’t be a P.O. Box), phone number, SSN or ITIN, and date of birth. You’ll also be required to provide us with your valid, unexpired government-issued ID. In rare cases, we may ask you to provide additional information or documents to confirm your identity, but only when it’s necessary.
