How do I receive money in person via cash pickup sent through MoneyGram?
1: Find a convenient MoneyGram location near you. 2: Bring your reference number and valid photo ID with you for pick up. Reference Number: Ask your sender for the reference number for the transaction. This number is on the receipt and included in confirmation emails for online transfer. ID: You will need to bring a valid photo ID (passport, national ID or residence permit). 3: Complete the transaction. If required, complete a simple Receive Form entering the reference number given to you by the sender. Hand the receive form and your valid photo ID to the person at the counter to receive your money.
What information do I need to pick up money that was sent to me to an agent location?
To ensure a smooth experience when picking up money, you will need the transaction reference number (you can get this from the sender) along with a valid photo ID. Some countries also require a valid proof of address when an ID does not contain an address.
