Login and verification
How do I log in to the new MoneyGram app?
Once you’ve downloaded the new MoneyGram app: Log in with the same email or phone number you've used in the past. To confirm it’s really you, we’ll send you a One-Time Passcode (OTP) to your email and phone number. After verifying your account, you’ll have the option to create a PIN or passkey for a quicker, more secure login experience in the future. To continue using MoneyGram on the web, log in with your existing credentials. You may notice some updates to the experience when you begin a new transfer.
How does a passkey or PIN make signing in more secure?
A passkey uses your device’s built-in security—like Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or screen lock—so there’s no password to steal or forget. Instead, a unique digital key is stored safely on your device. A PIN is a short code you create that only works on your device, adding another layer of protection. Both options give you faster access and stronger security than a traditional password.
How do I verify my identity with a one-time passcode?
We’ll send a 6-digit one-time passcode (OTP) to your mobile number, WhatsApp, or email. Enter it in the app or on the web within 5 minutes. If it expires, just request a new code. If you don’t see it in your email, check your spam.
