Funds In Countries - You can fund your wallet at select MoneyGram locations in the following countries:
- Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, El Salvador, Hungary, Ireland, Kenya, Philippines, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States
Funds Out Countries - You can withdraw funds from your wallet in 195+ countries
- Start your transaction on the wallet app.
- Select a MoneyGram location in the app and head to that location to pay for your transaction (fund your wallet) within 24 hours.
- Tell the MoneyGram agent that you are here to complete a transaction.
- Be sure to bring your photo ID.
- Your wallet balance will be updated within a few minutes after payment.
- You will be asked to select a MoneyGram location in the wallet app as you start your transaction. This service is available at participating locations.
- No, you cannot use a debit or credit card to fund your wallet. You must bring cash to the location you selected within the wallet app to fund your wallet. In addition, you cannot use the MoneyGram online application to fund your wallet.
There are some key pieces of information that are required in order to fund your wallet using MoneyGram. These include but are not limited to:
- Type of ID (government, drivers license, etc.) ID Number, ID Country of Use, Country of Birth, First Name, Middle Name (if listed on your ID), Last Name, Second Last Name (if applicable), Date of Birth, Current Address, Phone Number
If your funds do not appear within 10 minutes of completing the transaction, please contact MoneyGram via chat. The team will investigate whether your funds were sent successfully. All MoneyGram customers are screened and transactions may be held in order to collect additional information or rejected.
