Wal-Mart Will Offer Money Transfer & Money Order Services

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., March 8, 2004---MoneyGram Payment Systems, Inc., announced today that MoneyGram® money transfer service and Travelers Express® money orders are now available in Wal-Mart stores in Puerto Rico. The addition of the Wal-Mart stores to MoneyGram's existing agent network in Puerto Rico gives MoneyGram and Travelers Express customers a greater number of convenient locations to send money or purchase money orders.

The MoneyGram money transfer service and the Travelers Express money orders are now available in nine Wal-Mart stores and three Wal-Mart Supercenters in Puerto Rico. The total network of MoneyGram locations in Puerto Rico now numbers about 350.
